altered camera

Mini camera photo album tucked inside an altered box/camera

The balsa box cameras on you tube have been so inspiring but I have not been able to find any of the boxes sooooo... I created my own camera with chipboard, lace, bling, flowers and scor tape.

September projects...............

From this to that.  I love the little round cow cheese boxes.  I've made a few hanging decorations using them before and decided to try another one with a random bunch of stuff.  This is one of my favorite projects so far because, of course, it has feathers - hardware - sparkly stuff and wings :-)

Altered Dominos - This was a ton of fun.  I hope to make more soon!  I love this feathery headdress.

I love this stamp and had this giant flower stashed away forever.  I think she looks floralishious!

Birthday cards for my September angel friends!

I loved Miranda Edney's(MsLiberty25 on youtube) paintbrush canvas piece and decided I needed to find a bunch of something, alter it and make my own canvas. So I sparked up a lighter, bent a lot of plastic utensils and started altering.  This has to be the strangest thing I've made but, oddly enough, I kinda like it. lol.

one down ... a bunch to go!

Background - chipboard, doilies, Martha Stewart stencil, Shimmerz texture paste, script background stamp and shimmerz drippy spray.

Finally done altering these things!

The completed utensil abstract canvas.
Weird but fun :-)

A little altered easel.  It is about 6 inches high.  I put it here so that I could remember
the sweet bow I made using two oval punches bent in half.  So cutimous!

Literature Challenge Entry for Amador (Amadoreros on youtube)

As a librarian I had to join this challenge.  The theme is literature and as a subscriber you can make anything that relates to literature.  I decided to do a mini library shelf with altered book ends and three faux library books. So much FUN!!!

The altered book ends are above - really hard to see in a photo.

First Book - my favorite - The Wizard of Oz.  The faux pages are accordion folded to make a shadow box on the inside.  Again hard to see in a phot but super fun to fill with Oz characters.

Second book and another fav - The Secret Garden.  This is a window box/book with a birdie in a flower garden.  I love the paper from G45 and used the key, bow and flowers to embellish.

The last book is a biography titled "Amador An Artist". It is another faux book with a drawer on the side.

And here they are all together just waiting to be shelved and mailed to Amador :-)

Thanks for the challenge Amador - this was super fun!
